This counseling service is a part of a not for profit ministry.  At Footsteps of Jesus Christ Family Counseling Services, we believe that Christian Counseling is the discipline of one caring person assisting another person seeking God's grace, wisdom, insight, and intervention to resolve personal, interpersonal, and/or spiritual difficulties and challenges.  And all of our sessions begin and end in prayer.

This independent professional ministry provides pastoral and Christian counseling services to individuals and families struggling with a variety of issues, and who seek to integrate their faith into the process of resolving them.  We consult with capable colleagues who have excellent reputations, and sound track records in the areas of counseling.

Scheduling is by appointment only.

Non-Christians are also welcomed to take advantage of these services if in need of counseling assistance and guidance, with a desire to direct their dependence upon the Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our state does not require Christian Counselors to obtain state licensing, but we are certified, Masters level counselors.

Our administrator, Dr. Velecia A. Hulsey, has a Master of Ministry degree in Christian Counseling, with a Christian Counseling Therapist Certification, who can assist with any aspect of the counseling ministry.
