Greetings in the Name of Jesus!

Footsteps of Jesus Christ is a 7-fold ministry which can accommodate a variety of needs:

(1) Certified Christian Counseling/Pastoral Professional Counseling (individual, family, pre-marital, marital, and grief);

(2) Evangelistic Ministry (through the Giving to Jesus ministry:  helping the fatherless, widows, the poor and the needy, as God gives us methods, and opportunity);

(3) Leadership Training/College Ministry (training and certifying ministers and pastors for the work of the ministry);

(4) Music Ministry (music during Sunday services, and by invitation);

(5) Outreach/Media Ministry (keeping in touch with members and ministry affiliates through whatever aspect of media available);

(6) Pastoral/Church Ministry (conducting inspiring Sunday services from 8:30 - approximately 9:30 am.); and

(7) Telephone Follow-up Ministry (checking on the brethren/sisteren to see how they do, and if they have any needs that we can assist with).

Other Features of this Ministry

Footsteps of Jesus Christ, through the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, obeys God in an effective and Scriptural way, in which to give to Jesus Christ, by fullfilliing St. Matthew 25:34-40, which says:

34 "Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

This is called, giving to one of the least of these, regardless of when God leads us to do it throughout the year, and to whomever He leads us to give to.

We will continue to give as God provides for us to give, whenever there's a need, and hope that in years to come, you will begin to be obedient to the Word of God in this way as well, and follow God's methods, and not the traditions of the world.

Dr. Velecia A. Hulsey, Pastor; Bishop Dennis E. Hulsey passed on 7/12/2025.

Bishop Dennis E. Hulsey received his call to the Ministry in 1992.  He served as Assistant Pastor to several ministries around the St. Louis and E. St. Louis areas.  Bishop Hulsey was licensed under the ministry of Footsteps of Jesus Christ on December 4, 2010, ordained July 2, 2011, and elevated to Bishop on November 10, 2012.

Dr. Velecia A. Hulsey received her call to the Ministry in 1976.  She was licensed and ordained November 28, 1993 under the ministry of Solid Rock Full Gospel Assembly (Bishop L. F. Thomas, overseer).  She has been pastoring Footsteps of Jesus Christ Apostles' Doctrine Church, Inc. since May 1994.

The Hulseys met on October 24, 2010, were engaged November 12, 2010, and married on February 12, 2012.

As the Aquilla & Priscilla of St. Louis, they began pastoring together, preaching together, and ministering in song together, after the honeymoon.

Ministerial & Leadership Training

Footsteps of Jesus Christ conducts a Ministerial & Leadership Training series, where God has called us to go into Houses of God, the homes of the saints, and to train directly in our services, training leaders for accuracy in service to God.

The Lord instructed us that, those who desire to move forward in ministry, must have read through the Word of God, at least once.  And following the successful completion of the Minister's training course, a Certificate of Licensure for ministry will be awarded.  And after successful completion of the Leadership Training manual, the minister will become an ordained elder, which could lead to pastoring, and/or evangelism.

Proven Ministerial experience will suffice as a prerequisite to Licensure and Ordination.

We thank all of you who have shown an interest in training with Footsteps of Jesus Christ, in pursuit of your calling.  These Specialized individual Scripture trainings can be scheduled with Dr. Hulsey at your convenience.
